My friend got a 1 day ban recently, and he wanted to play on his alt but was scared he would get banned. Does the ban, “using or creating an account to take action against another account” apply for single day bans. My guess is it does.

Yes, it still applies, but normally you don’t get banned for 1 day for what enforcement bans apply to (Sexual Content, Harrassment, Scamming, Hacking, Exploiting). Maybe it’s more idk
I definitely wouldn’t take any risks since it’s only one day.

Not 100% sure, but alt detect probably is done through IP address and HWID detection, possibly looking if you also shared an email with another account.
That means you would need to use a VPN and somehow change the device you’re using, I have never tried the later before.

It detects whether both accounts have the same email, IP adress and are on the same WiFi, device (as far as I know)
you only get terminated for ban evasion if you switch to another account listed under your account switcher while one of the accounts there is banned. my friends have done an investigation and found out that roblox doesn’t check for accounts banned under the same ip, but they will check for accounts under the same session and email address
