Alternatives for old BodyMover features

It’s been a number of years since ROBLOX deprecated the old BodyMovers. Despite this, they are far superior in ease of use than the new ones. I apologize for the rant-like nature of this post but come on - why do we have to use hacky workarounds to do the things that used to be easy?

Is there an easy way to control MaxTorque and MaxForce in AlignPosition and AlignOrientation on all 3-axis? With old BodyMovers, you could simply set them to a Vector3. Now the only solution (I believe) is to create THREE separate instances and meddle with several properties on each of them so they only affect one axis each. Do I really have to create like fifty attachments every time I need to apply forces in a certain way?

I’m literally ranting sorry

Honestly linear velocity is really not that bad and it didn’t take me that long to get it to do what I want but yeah I completely agree the align position and align orientation just seem like nothing but a headache to use

LinearVelocity and AlignPosition both have a property called ForceLimitMode. You can set it to PerAxis to control MaxForce with a Vector3 like with BodyMovers. For AlignOrientation, you need to change the AlignType property. Hope this helps
