I’m incapable of producing music/sounds or paying for music/sounds for my game and MOST (NOT all) music on Roblox is… not the best if we’re being honest. So I’m wondering if I’m allowed to use 8bit covers/remixes of music that has been used in off site games or anime for example without legal repercussions.
(This is my first topic that I’ve posted on dev forum, apologies if it’s poor.)
Your best bet is to find content that is either in the public domain, copyright & royalty free, commercial/personal permissible use sounds. This will lessen the chance or even eliminate it almost fully of receiving a copyright claim and will not get you in trouble.
