Hello, developers. I have a problem that my game “Granny: Continuance” has a very unstable percentage of ratings. In a first month after the game was released, the rating was 85-90% and then in 2 months it dropped to 70 and after that it dropped in 2 days to 68%. Players do not report problems in the gameplay but only express their opinion about it through the feedback feature, which is why I can not understand why some people can have bad gameplay experience, so I’d like to hear any opinion from you about my game. I will accept any of your opinions about the game, but please write in detail. Thank you.

For a first time experience playing on desktop, I can say that the movement and input feels very unappealing to me.
I’m not sure if its a granny thing (I was never really into the game) but for the entirety of the game I have to hold down my RMB to turn my camera. It almost feels like I have high input delay or high ping when its simply not the case.
I picked up the core point of the game fairly quick, and the AI seems to work fine if you don’t manage to trap yourself. Sometimes collisions with the boarded vents may be a little broken, but nothing truly upsetting or game breaking.
The only suggestion I could give is to try and fix client side input (or maybe its a me problem) and possibly add some extra information since I assume children might not even understand what to do. A good start might be a simple “Objective” system or maybe context clues,
but then again it is called “Continuance” so I assume people would play this coming from a previous granny game.
I would suggest finding some QA testing or even having some friends run through the game a few times just to really get out all of the bugs.
Hope this helped a bit, and I wish you the best of luck and success with your game!

Hi Ferstellor, I reviewed “Granny Continuance” on my stream after finding it via the Games Radar . I saw your post about the game’s rating instability and wanted to share my thoughts.
The game is technically very well-made. It’s polished, stable, and successfully delivers a classic horror experience. My main critique is that it feels very similar to the original, which might explain the mixed ratings. While it’s a great continuation for fans, it doesn’t bring much new to the table to excite a broader audience.
My Scores: Gameplay: 7/10, Visuals: 6/10, Originality: 3/10, Polish: 7/10.
You’re great at execution! A unique twist could really make it stand out.
