Hi Creators,
Today, we’re launching Custom Dashboards on Creator Analytics, a way to build personalized analytics views tailored to your experience. Instead of jumping between multiple pages, you can now assemble all the metrics you care about into a single, shareable dashboard. No more rebuilding the same charts for your custom events every time you log in.
You’ll find your dashboards under Custom Dashboards in the left nav of your experience.
Create and Publish Custom Dashboards for Your Game
From the new Custom Dashboards landing page, you can create, edit, rename, and delete dashboards. All published dashboards are visible to anyone on your team with view analytics permissions.
To get started:
- Start with a blank canvas: Go to Analytics > Custom Dashboards and click Manage.
- Customize widgets: Add charts, tables, or summary cards. Drag to resize and rearrange them so your most important metrics are front and center.
- Set default settings: Adjust your landing defaults for time range, breakdowns, annotations, and granularity.
- Publish to save: Your dashboard is only saved when published. If you leave without saving, you will lose your changes.
You can create up to 20 dashboards per game.
Save Your Custom Charts to a New Dashboard
There are three easy ways to add charts to your custom dashboards:
- From a custom dashboard: Click Add chart to configure a new chart from scratch.
- From the Explore page: Click Add to custom dashboard on any chart you build in Explore.
- From another dashboard: Click the overflow menu on any existing chart and select Add to dashboard.
Add Summary Cards for At-a-Glance Metrics
Summary cards give you a single number for a metric, perfect for top-of-dashboard KPIs. They support:
- Summarization options: Average of daily values, most recent data point, cumulative over time period. All time periods reflect the dashboard level date range selected.
- Custom card names
Use these to surface your most important numbers (daily revenue, D1 retention, peak CCU etc).
Pin Your Dashboards to the Side Nav
For the views you check every day, pin them on your left nav so they’re always one click away.
