Any plans to expand AnalyticsService so we can build Heatmaps for example through the custom dashboards?
You can select benchmarks as an overlay when you add/edit the chart (it defaults to none)

We are considering adding heatmaps but want to better understand the use case. Can you share more examples on what you’d want to use heatmaps for? What type of insights you’d gain from them?
I’ll give a real-world example that we use heatmaps in our game for. The game is a team vs team shooter. We use heatmaps to track where vehicles are being destroyed most often, and this tells us the most critical chokepoints.
The most important insight is comparing identical events between the teams. Maps aren’t perfectly symmetrical so balancing is where heatmaps come in. They can show that vehicles of team A are being destroyed much closer to their spawn than vehicles of team B. This gives us an insight of where this happens and we can impove the environment to balance it.
On less specific insights, we track the general pathing of our players. This shows the most popular positions players hold, as well as routes they take. This both tells us what people like in a map which we can replicate on new maps and what areas are rarely visited.
