Anchoring a moving part

I’ll be quick

I made some part move
I want that part to stop moving but keeping his path (if part goes Down - Stops - Goes down again if goes Up same and so on)
Then i want the part to continue his old path

The issues:

the Part when anchored keeps his path but if the player touches it he will jump away according to the direction of the part (like the part is moving him)

Client and server aren’t fully synced and some delay makes parts teleport

Does someone know a way to fix this?

I think to stop the first issue, just turn off collisions for the part. I might have read it incorrectly.
