I havent found any posts similar to mine, so I decided to make my own.
As of today (September 26th 2026), I have been unable to join any Roblox experience on my Android device.
Roblox itself opens normally and I can browse the app without problems. However, whenever I press Play on an experience, it gets stuck in an endless loading loop. It never actually connects me to the game, and the normal “Connecting to server…” message does not appear.
After waiting long enough, the Roblox client eventually closes itself.
There are also some unusual behaviors:
- Sometimes, after the stuck client closes, another Roblox client/session launches by itself.
- The experience I attempted to join does not register or appear in my Recently Played experiences.
- This happens with every experience I have tested, including a private/empty experience that I own.
Steps to reproduce
- Open Roblox on Android
- Select any experience
- Press Play
- Wait for the experience to load
- The loading screen loops indefinitely without connecting to the experience
- After waiting long enough, the Roblox client closes itself
- Sometimes another Roblox client/session launches afterward
- Check Recently Played; the attempted experience has not been registered
→ Troubleshooting already attempted
- Cleared Roblox storage/cache
- Force restarted my phone
- Uninstalled and reinstalled Roblox
- Checked Google Play for updates
- Forgot my Wi-Fi network and reconnected to it
None of these resolved the issue.
Another user reported that forgetting and reconnecting to Wi-Fi fixed a similar inability to join experiences, so I tried the same workaround, but it did not work for me.
The issue started suddenly. Roblox was working normally approximately one or two days before this started.
OS: Android 14
Expected behavior
After pressing Play, Roblox should connect me to the selected experience and load it normally. The experience should also be registered in Recently Played.
