In my game, I want animals like wolves to spawn and attack players to add uniqueness to a match.
My question is: is it against any rules to add harming animals with guns and swords? Plus having the animals take damage noises? There’ll be birds and sharks as well, as the game is pirate themed.
Restricted experiences on Roblox may include graphic and realistic-looking depictions of violence and heavy bloodshed, but Roblox does not allow content that contains extreme violence or serious physical or psychological abuse, including: Animal abuse and torture.
He would need to properly set the games content maturity however, which would either be moderate or restricted depending on how graphic. If he could show us reference of what this would look like that would be preferred.
This would not classify as animal abuse or torture.
An example of a game with animal abuse would be like “Kick Puppies Simulator” where the entire idea is to kick innocent puppies. That is animal abuse. A hostile and aggressive wolf attacking the player and the player attacking it back is a core game component for most RPG games. It would not be classified as restricted or moderate either, unless he goes and adds some more graphic stuff to it. i.e the wolf limping away and bleeding, or beheading, etc.
I only said it like this because the topic’s name seemed a bit violent, which is also why I’m asking @mAAdmarkus for some reference or a indepth explanation.
I dont think so this would be restricted either, at least not above 13+.
If you see, games like combat warrior do already have such features such as glory kill, bleeding players bodies, dismembered body parts etc, If his game is not specifically targeting to kill or abuse animals, its most likely fine.
Roblox , in the past has promoted a game where you use a chainsaw to saw off the arms and legs of zombies, as they scream in pain.
I don’t see how shooting a parrot would be 17+
Never said a human life isn’t less value to an animal and I completely agree with you I respect all life in general though. However I’m saying that something like rivals is already considered mild, something with gore would be moderate, and something with a lot of gore would be considered restricted aka 17+. But no matter if the experience is 17+ it can still be subject to moderation depending on the contents.
I think people are overlooking this. Short answer is that is it is allowed. Obviously content that is more violent and gruesome is going to require you to update your content maturity questionnaire.
