so I made a roblox game (under my name)
i gave my alt access to it
and when i play an animation (owned by the account that made the game) on the account that owns the game in roblox studio it works but
when i play an animation of the account i gave access to in roblox studio it doesnt work
Animations usually can only be played by the owner. If you decide to load an animation from another account other than the owner’s account it will say you do not have permission to play the animation track.
so to fix this i simply need to remake the animation under the owners account?
If you want that the animation can be seen from the other account studio, yeah you’ll need to remake the animation. However it serves zero purpose doing that since the animation can be still seen if you use roblox player to play the game
Just don’t use an alt account Ig or remake the anim from the alt account
If u already made from the owner’s acc the other people that got access to ur game won’t be able to see it on studio

In my experience animations will not load properly if you are in a group and don’t publish it under the ownership of the group, even if you own the animation yourself. This general rule I assume can be applied to your situation. It needs to be published by the “owner”, be it your alt or a group.
Just upload animation to group instead bro
