For some reason the animation editor is always snapping to the starting pose on the last keyframe. If there’s multiple keyframes, it seems to break the last and the 2nd last keyframe interpolation. And also, if I remove some tracks (regardless if they’re being animated), the animation editor stops showing any changes altogether until i reload the animation.
I’ve tried animating on an empty baseplate and I get similar results.
Addendum:
seems like someone else has been experiencing this as well
Addendum 2:
Seems like the last keyframe bug is an issue where it both shows a certain keyframe state, but internally has a different saved state. If you manually edit all the keyframes in the last frame to the desired values, it will fix this issue, even if it looks like nothing is happening while you’re fixing it.
when loading an animation that was saved with “Loop” = true, the animation editor bugs out and snaps back to the first keyframe pose when you select the last keyframe, even when the animation is not playing
turning off looped will not immediately fix this, you have to save, then reload the animation
repro below:
this animation was saved with looped = true, even though looped is disabled here (the loop icon is not blue), the animation snaps on the final keyframe
when you save with looped=false, reload the animation, the animation player works as expected, even if you re-enable looped
if you import animations from blender like I did, the fbx file has some loop flag that defaults to true, you have to import it and disable the looping in studio
I have reported this issue too. Here’s the link to the post including a link in that post to another post with actual video evidence. Animator Studio Bug
