Animation Graph Editor breaks after enabling an unused Boolean parameter.

I hope I got the right report section for this, as there is no “Graph Editor” when going to report an error, this is the closet thing to it, if I can report elsewhere, please point me in that direction!

The Animation Graph Editor becomes unusable after creating a Boolean parameter and enabling it through the Parameters window, even when the parameter is not connected to or used by any nodes.

After enabling the parameter, the graph view disappears while the rig continues playing the animation in the Workspace. Restarting Roblox Studio does not resolve the issue. Reopening the Animation Graph Editor results in the following error:

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Create a new parameter named “Walk”.
  2. Set the parameter type to Boolean.
  3. Leave the parameter unused and do not connect it to any nodes.
  4. Open the Parameters window in the top-left of the Animation Graph Editor.
  5. Enable the “Walk” parameter.
  6. The graph editor disappears, while the rig continues playing the animation in the Workspace. This throws the error.

THE SOLUTION TO GET GRAPH BACK: For me to get back the Graph again, I have to reset my entire Studio Layout, this clears the error. When I go to enable the same Bool in the window, it does the same thing again. I have attached the place within the private message. So this points to ANOTHER UI issue with Animation stuff, much like my last report with the Animation Editor.

Expected behavior

The Boolean parameter should be enabled successfully, and the Animation Graph Editor should continue displaying the graph normally.

An unused parameter should not cause the editor to crash or become corrupted.
