Animation not playing correctly

This might just be because I’m tired, but I just don’t understand why my animation is playing out the way it is. I’ve checked and the bodyattach orientation is indeed 0. But why isn’t it playing properly?
Currently I’m using headstackks method of animating tools.

And yes, I did set the animation priority to action

Scratch that I’ve managed to figure out the problem.
At some point when moving the tool to the animation rig, something wrong must’ve happened so that the tool wasn’t properly connected to the torso M6D.
I fixed it just by deleting the previous M6D and then reattaching the tool to the torso with a new M6D.
