Animation Not Playing Correctly

External Media

My animation’s priority is Action4, no other animations are playing either other than idle which is of course priority Idle. I’ve never seem this before, any help would be appreciated.
How I play the animation

Animations.Weapon["Use"]:Play()

the code youve provided is very vague and its hard to spot the exact issue

But the roblox documentation on Animations may have the solution Animation | Documentation - Roblox Creator Hub

Animations Is A Table, Weapon Is Also a Table, This Is how the animations are loaded,

		for i,v in pairs(a1) do
			Animations.Weapon[v.Name] = LocalPlayer.Character.Humanoid:LoadAnimation(v)

From that snippet of code, the problem could be you’re loading it from the Humanoid instead of its Animator. Maybe alter your code so it loads the animaation from the character’s Animator (which is parented to the Humanoid)

Problem still occurs, but thanks for trying.

It looks like you’re trying to store an AnimTrack in a table
I’m unsure what you could be cooking in your studio session but afaik that’s not a good way to load your animations

Try this, it should work

local function Play(Character: Model, AnimationId: string, Properties: AnimationProperties?): AnimationTrack
	local Animator: Animator = Character.Humanoid.Animator
	Animation.AnimationId = AnimationId
	local AnimationTrack = Animator:LoadAnimation(Animation)
	if Properties.Priority then AnimationTrack.Priority = Properties.Priority end

	AnimationTrack:Play(Properties and Properties.FadeTime, Properties and Properties.Weight, Properties and Properties.Speed)
	return AnimationTrack
end

Play(LocalPlayer.Character, a1.Use, {Priority = Enum.AnimationPriority.Action4})

Nope. I’ve also tried playing the animation with no other animations playing but it still happens.

I’m sure you have, however, is the animation and humanoid you are running the animation on the same rig type? (r6 or r15)

yes it is in rig type r6. (Dummy is from Moon Animator Character Inserter)

Try setting the Animation Priority to Action, as it overrides most of the character’s default movements.
