Animations only play "halfway"

it’s EXTREMELY weird, i’ve tried lots of different things such as:

  • turning off all other animations playing
  • increasing priority to Action4
  • decreasing priority on other animations
  • testing animations on the server (animations are client-sided)

here’s what it looks like:


intended animations go fully forward, but for some reason these animations do… that

set the animation priority to action so it doesnt get combined with the idle

i have already tried this - setting everything to action4, but it didn’t work
also thanks i’m having fun working on it

is the stands idle animation priority idle?

yep, i’ve tried disabling it as well but nothing works

it could potentially be the fact that i’m using other limbs for the stand itself - not sure

i know that im asking a pretty dumb question but after u set the animation priority to action4 did you upload the animation and change the animations animationid to the new one

yep, i overwrote the old animation various times to test on Action and Action4

in the gif the green day barrage looks normal to me have you changed the star platinum one?

it’s definitely incorrect - the arms dont go close enough to the center.

maybe some limb in the stand is anchored

a quirk with the built-in roblox animator (in my experience atleast) is that whenever a part you’re animating goes even the slightest bit out of the animating grid (attached to the dummy’s feet), the animation will always be half-assed

why is this happening? i don’t know
do i know how to fix it? moon animator or blender

so if i were to export the animation in moon animator, that will fix my issue?

it should,

i am not advertising moon animator by any means, i’d just suggest doing it in blender with the rbx aniomations plugin
