Animations only playing for me

    Custom animations, using the R6 default ‘Animate’ script.

  2. What is the issue? Include screenshots / videos if possible!
    “Failed to load animation with sanitized ID rbxassetid://id” – The id is an actual id

The animations I’m trying to play are only playing for me, both the game and the animations are created by me but they just won’t play. The animations are made on an R6 rig, priority is right, I’ve changed both the animations in the Animate script and in the table of the Animate script but whatever I do I just can’t get it to work.

  1. What solutions have you tried so far? Did you look for solutions on the Developer Hub?
    I’ve tried everything I could find, nothing has worked.

If i remember me and my old developer friend encountered this it was something with his account. See if you can have a friend upload the asset / someone else upload it and distribute it on the creator store and see if it lets you access the animation.

Yeah but if they’re uploaded to his account, the animations shouldn’t work on my place, right?

they will not work
Unless you uploaded it under a group and your game is under this group aswell

No.
You should reupload it or your friend must give you permission to use them

Reuploading hasn’t done anything (Tried again just now) but I’m not sure how exactly my friend would share them with me.

I reuploaded them on my account since the game is also on my account.

Turns out I’m a little stupid, animations don’t work in studio for others but work in-game. My bad.
