Really annoying seams when building
moving around parts by dragging automatically creates these and it places stuff on weird decimals like .505 or .501
any setting in studio so i can get it to stop doing this / plugin?
Have you tried using these settings? if you drag parts using these settings I’m pretty sure they’ll stick together and remain at the same Y-level which should prevent the seam problem you’re talking about (unless there are external objects causing one object to be higher than the other)
doesnt fix it sadly, ill drag it down and it’ll clearly be 0.5 and then when i click off the part and click back on it it’s 0.501 again
this happens to me sometimes. if I don’t notice quick enough, my entire build goes 0.001 studs off the grid! I’ve been experiencing this since I’ve started studio, and it can be rare or it can just happen all the time.
seems to happen all the time for me
found out it happens because when i click a part it moves it up by 0.01 for some reason
i have align dragged objects turned off and it still does this, no clue why this happens and i really desperately need a fix because i cannot build with this issue happening ![]()
Have you tried using plugins like BuildV4?
https://create.roblox.com/store/asset/143383965/Build-v4
It offers an inbuilt move system that you can select a setting called “Last Selected”
You can drag around parts in your preferred moving method, and it will stick at the same height (from what i’ve tested) as other parts. Unless there is some other height interference
tysm ill deffo check this out and see if it fixes the height bug, ill leave the thread open as i definetley prefer building with default studio tools over other stuff like F3X and it’d be awesome if I could get a fix for the bug to let me build normally but if this works this is a massive help, ty for this ![]()
