Introduction
Hey Administrators! Recently, I’ve began to take action to all of the users to refrain to join ingame or discord because of our team. As a result, we will be making drastic changes to the team. One of them mainly being usage of profanity and being professional.
Update 1
Introduction
Let’s be more professional. If you’re going to mute someone, don’t do it to be a a jerk or a joke to antagonize someone. There needs to be a lot more professionalism in this team. I’m sick and tired of people staying away from the game because of us admins. We all need to change in how we talk to others and interact with the community.
Banning Without A Reason
Banning within the discord is now required that you put a reason. Manual bans are disabled. Head Admins may enable them if Dyno is down, otherwise they will stay disabled. Please use Dyno to moderate the server. From now on, if you are caught abusing the ban command such as banning without a reason, you will be given a warning. 3 Warnings will give you a strike, 3 strikes you will be removed.
Warn Command
I’m going to bring back the warn command. Be responsible with it. If you don’t I’ll just take it away again. However, role commands won’t be added back for clear reasons. You admins like to abuse your discord powers. Anyways, back to warn cmd. Only warn for stuff that’s in #rules and don’t abuse it. I will take it and you’ll be given a strike.
Professionalism
Okay. This is important. Firstly, stop going into chats and telling people to “f off” or banning with these stupid reasons. All bans are required a professional reason. I can understand people telling you disrespectful things, but if that offends you, you probably shouldn’t be on the team. If you are caught being disrespectful to people in the discord or ingame, you will be given a strike. I’m tired of it. I understand people make you mad. I get it. However, you acting immature and irresponsible ingame will give the game a negative reputation.
Activity
Activity is now logged. You are required 10+ bans per week. If you fail to complete this, you will be given a strike. If you are on an inactivity notice, please let us know that by going to the pins in staff announcements and reacting to obtain the “Inactivity Notice” role.
Ingame Regulations
As an Anomic Administrator, it is easy for someone to piss you off such as someone targeting you then taunting over it, etc. However, you must try your best to keep your cool and tell them to stop in a respectful manor, or if you really think they deserve it, kick them. There should be no ban included in this unless its repetitive 5+ times.
Player Reports
Player reports come in at about 50-100 a day, we understand that it is indeed stressful, but we now request 10+ bans per week. However, if someone makes a ticket and says nothing, request a blacklist through the requests channel. Don’t loose your cool and go off on them. There’s been a few admins who have and they’ve been talked to for it.
