I play a game where the developers have somehow managed to edit the FFlags on your client and have FiB3 enabled in live game servers. Where would I even start with doing this?
I spoke with a developer and the information he gave me was that you’re able to enable it not just on studio but on your game client as well.
The developers haven’t actually forced the FFlags onto your client; that’s not doable. They probably just use a hacky method of achieving comparable lighting, not the actual thing.
As @posatta said, you can’t have FiB3 on live servers, and they haven’t forced the flags on your client. What you probably can do is install shaders that change your client, but those can be detected and cause you to get banned.
So what those developers are probably using some custom lighting scripts to get a near enough result.
That’s him enabling it on his client, not forcing it onto others’ clients. I misunderstood your original post and assumed you meant that he was forcing it on other users.
