A little bit contrast would be good. I think this is pretty good with a little bit better lighting
Should I put out the crane or should I keep it there?
You shouldn’t get rid of it. You could add some dim lights inside of the crane (invisible part) so all of the parts don’t blend in together.
No light
Thank you for your feedback, appreciated.
You could probably do with less neon in the build, my eyes are attracted to the neon and not the build. Just a thought.
I am really obsessed with neon thats why it is everywhere
The Neon is a bit too much in my opinion but if you are trying to keep the neon try this.
Put a piece of glass in front of the neon then adjust the transparency and that would dim the neon a tad so it doesn’t let the neon to run wild as it is now.
I would also try adding a little more detail to your work to make it pop out a little more.
But other than that it looks pretty solid so far!
Will try that, Thank you very much!
I Am trying to get some inspiration from the game Neon district
Try using smooth plastic or plastic instead, if that doesn’t work than you can just leave it as is.
Yup smooth plastic fixed the issue.
I would suggest a few more details can be placed throughout your showcase, I few changes can be made to make it more detailed with a little simplistic within it. Mess with different building shapes to create a decent showcase the only way to become more improved when building is you practice and you will learn overtime.
I feel like it would look a bit more realistic if there was more variety of shape buildings, it’s really up to you. I would suggest expanding your city or town showcase game add some small nature props around perhaps mailboxes, stop signs, bike racks, street lamps/lights ect. You can just about add anything if your wanting to continue to improve your builds.
While it’s a basic layout and building formation I recommend messing around including small important details to enhance the scene, viewing reference images of the things your making could give you l
Definitely keep working with details and textures, dim the neon lights (darken the hue or just try lowering the brightness), and use lighting to your advantage. In the future, be sure to attach different angles (curious on measurements and how the trees look close up specifically) for better feedback.
