Hello developers!
Roblox is getting boring for me, no games on the platform are games I actually enjoy… So I wanna create a game that i do actually enjoy playing and love being the owner of. But the problem is I have no idea what game i wanna make, is there any game you guys would LOVE to see on roblox? anything is possible!

Well, I like open world and story games.
And there’s a few ways to find game ideas;
Read books, watch movies or just look at some photos. Environment gives me lots of game ideas to make!
Large battleground, different classic weapons like rocket or slingshot, and also, make it in R6. Something similar to Mortem Metallum is nice.
Every good game should have a plan. Even if you get ideas when you’re in school, eating breakfast, etc, you should write them down. It goes beyond jotting down ideas. You should write down a To-Do list, try using Trello or OneNote, but if you don’t have access to those, just Microsoft Notepad or pen and paper will do. Write out potential dialog that can be edited later, lines of code, building sketches, anything that comes to mind! Those ideas are valuable, so not writing them down is a waste.
FPS games are pretty popular. It’s pretty difficult to make an original FPS game, other than changing the guns there’s nothing you can really do to change it. I enjoy playing games like Arsenal and Bad Business. It doesn’t always have to be a gun-game type game though. It can be loadouts like Bad Business, picking up guns like Fortnite, the possibilities are (almost) endless.
If you want to appeal to younger kids, roleplaying games are the way to go. Make sure to include pets. Not like Adopt Me! opening eggs, whatever, if you don’t want to that is. I’m not saying copy already existing games. Kids like games that revolve around parenthood and owning pets. All I’m gonna say.
I have always had this idea on my mind
Idea: Your a ragdoll character and have to complete puzzles to unlock the next level
Example: push a block on a button

Start small and think of an game idea you will enjoy making, as that would be a great place to start. It can narrow down to many of things such as (Tycoons - Obby). Thinking of ideas can be hard from time to time, it’s always good to at least do a little bit of searching on your own or view the platform and see what game hasn’t been made and go from their.
You don’t want to make games that already exist on the platform as it would become repetitive, brainstorm ideas through sources and place them down on a piece of paper and summarize on what idea is great to you something you will also enjoy.
Think about an genre? Mechanics - Game Idea so on. Try finding something that’s interesting, and create something that hasn’t been made on the Roblox platform. This topic has been brought many of times it will be good to do a little research first:
I do agree about how Roblox is getting boring, I’m pretty sure a lot of people out there feel the same way we do.
I actually do have some game ideas, however, I’ve been pretty hesitant about them because it sometimes kind of seems impossible to make.
Here are some ideas I have (though most of these are just rough ideas)
- A rhythmic obby game.
I’ve always been a fan of obby games and I would actually like to see what it would be like if it was combined with a rythm game
It could be like… timed jumps synced with music.
- A cinematic story game
Most of these story games I see on Roblox are either more like “camping” or a horror game. I’m not really a fan of horror games though so I would like to see a nonhorror type. I know that making it a horror type would be more interesting but I know some of us like me would just avoid the horror genres.
I honestly kind of want it to be like… Life is Strange but I know that’ll take a insane amount of planning and effort to make.
I’ve seen a good one on Roblox called “Life of an Otaku” but it’s really short and not much content.
- A obby story game
Yes… I’m obsessed with obbies. This game idea would kind of be like a Adventure, obby, story mixed type. I actually did try to make this once but kind of gave up. Maybe someone else can give it a go?
Now, maybe some of these ideas are crazy but if you want to know more, I still got a bunch more where that came from, maybe we can come up with a better game idea. Idk. What do you all think?

Hmm… I don’t really know that game but sure you can say something like that. It’s like a platformer game with lore or a story. And if you want, maybe add some puzzle stages in there lmaoz.
