Any tips to make GUI's ver good looking?

Hello,

So I don’t have experience with GUI’s at all… I only know how to script them but I want to know how I can make very nice GUI’s. I already tried to make some GUI’s with Photoshop but, well… What can I say, its not very attractive.

Any tiops?

  1. Don’t use Bangers
  2. Add drop shadow, stroke and inner glow to text
  3. Add gradient and shine to labels and boxes
    These are my personal rules when designing UI
    a similar font to bangers that looks better is Grobold

How do I add shadow and inner glow?

In photoshop right click the layer. Then at the top left click blending options. There should be options for all of these things.

Watch vids and learn, gui are mostly simple after u get the hang of it
