Any way to get mesh parts above the size limit

As the title says, I’m trying to get some terrain mesh parts that I’ve imported above the limit, I know its possible for parts using a SpecialMesh but I can’t seem to do it for meshparts.

How big are these Meshes in studs and in tris?
If the Meshes are physically large you may get a bit of a hit in performance because they may have to be rendered beyond the limits of the device playing the game.
If the tris are too high can’t you just decimate the Mesh to reduce the tris? How much detail do you actually need in your terrain?

2048x2048. I can’t get them any larger by conventional resizing in studio, thats what im trying to see if i can do by other means.

That’s why there’s a limit.

If you’re player is standing at the corner of four 2048 stud square Meshes then the computer has to render at least those 4 Meshes. That means that it’s rendering all 4 far diagonal corners of those Meshes at a distance of 2896 studs each.

If the player is standing at the center of a 2048 stud square Mesh with the surrounding 8 squares rendered (picture a tic tac toe game grid) then the farthest corners of the Meshes that would be rendered would be 4344.5 studs away.

The bigger your Mesh terrain is, the more computing power is required to render those complete areas.

Just cut your big Mesh into convenient 2048 stud squares. To make it even easier to calculate use 2000 x 2000 stud squares.
