Any way to stop sounds played locally?

Quick question, I used RemoteEvents and :PlayLocalSound() to play a sound locally, is there any way to stop the sound or is it just unsupported?

You could try destroying the sound instance.

If SoundService.RespectFilteringEnabled is true, then you can just use Sound:Play() to get the same effect while still being able to stop the sound.
Although, you wouldn’t be able to play multiple at the same time.

Unfortunately I need to play multiple at once, thanks for the tip though!

SOLUTION:

I used remoteevents firing from the serverscript to all clients. A localscript then picked it up and made alterations to the audio. (it either destroyed the audio or lowered the volume/tweened it to 0.)
