ARCTops Version 2.0 User Guide

Notice: ARCTops Version 2.0 has not yet released. This guide is being released prematurely for information purposes.

ARCTops Version 2.0 User Guide

ARCTops is a combat training/simulation experience for the over-the-shoulder gun-fighting community originally designed for use by ARC-478. Anyone can create a free private server for their own use.

Admin Guide

ARCTops uses Adonis Admin. Private server owners are given the “ServerOwner” permission; they can add HeadAdmins, Admins, and Moderators, and they may also use all commands. It is important to know that Adonis uses a DataStore linked to your server; this means that admins, bans, and other server information will persist even if the server restarts/shuts down.

Using Admin

Commands can be run in the Roblox chat or in the console (accessed by pressing "). All commands in the chat or console must be prefixed with : for example: :cmds.

Useful Commands

Adonis has hundreds of commands, which would be cluttering to list here; these are some important commands:

:cmds - Lists all Adonis commands
:respawn <players> - Respawns target player(s)
:randomizeteams <players> <teams> - Will evenly put players on the target teams
:team <players> <team> - Will put the target players on the target team
:resetstats <players> - Resets the leaderboard stats of the target players
:pban <player/user> <reason> - Permenantly bans the player from your server

Warning: Adonis has various tool giving commands which shouldn’t be used. If you want to give players tools, use the Server Control panel.

Server Control Guide

ARCTops Version 2.0 introduces a new Server Control panel which can be accessed using the shield icon at the top of your screen or by pressing N.

Info: All Server Control panel actions are logged via Adonis. Admins can access these logs using the :logs command.

Settings Tab

The settings tab is used to control various modifiers and combat systems.

Death Outscore

The Death Outscore setting is a numeric value that ranges from 0 to 9999. When a player’s death counter reaches the Death Outscore, they will be teamed back to “Lobby”. If this value is set to 0, the Death Outscore is disabled.

Respawn Time

The Respawn Time is a numeric value. It determines how quickly the player will respawn (in seconds) after death.

Force Field Time

The Force Field Time is a numeric value that ranges from 0 to 60. It determines how long the player has a force field (in seconds) on spawn.

Speed Multiplier

The Speed Multiplier is a numeric value that ranges from 0 to 3. It determines how fast players move while crouching, walking, or running. It works by multiplying the default speeds by the multiplier.

Weapon Speed Reduction

Almost every weapon has a default speed modifier, which will apply to the player’s movement speed on top of the Speed Multiplier if this setting is enabled. If it is disabled, movement speed will not be affected by these weapon speed multipliers.

Damage Multiplier

The Damage Multiplier is a numeric value that ranges from 0 to 100. All damage delt by weapons will be multiplied by the Damage Multiplier.

Recoil Multiplier

The Recoil Multiplier is a numeric value that ranges from 0 to 8. All default weapon recoil will be multiplied by the Recoil Multiplier.

Ammo Multiplier

The Ammo Multiplier is a numeric value. All default weapon ammo mag capacities will be multiplied by the Ammo Multiplier.

Team Kill

If enabled, players on the same team will be able to damage and kill eachother.

Health Multiplier

There are two Health Multiplier settings, one for the Red team and one for the Blue team. The Health Multiplier is a numeric value that ranges from 0 to 100. Players’ default health will be multiplied by the Health Multiplier on spawn.

Health Regen Multiplier

There are two Health Regen Multiplier settings, one for the Red team and one for the Blue team. The Health Regen Multiplier is a numeric value that ranges from 0 to 5. Players’ default health regen rate will be multiplied by the Health Regen Multiplier.

Armor

There are two Armor settings, one for the Red team and one for the Blue team. Armor is a numeric value that ranges from 0 to 1. Armor can also be referred to as the damage reduction value, for example: a value of 0.3 is 30% armor, or -30% damage taken.

Remove Accessories

If enabled, all players’ accessories will be removed on spawn. Enabling this setting will remove all players’ accessories without needing to respawn them.

Assist Counts As Kill

If enabled, the Assist Counts As Kill system will be enabled.

Down But Not Out

If enabled, the Down But Not Out system will be enabled.

Maps Tab

The maps tab is used to set the map. You must double-click the map you wish to set. Please note that setting a map will remove the current mode.

Guns Tab

The guns tab is used to give players tools and weapons. Selecting a tool will give it to all players and give it on spawn until it is unselected.

Modes Tab

The modes tab is used to select a mode. You must double-click the mode you wish to set. Please note that not all modes are compatible with all maps.

System Guide

ARCTops Version 2.0 introduces new core features such as the DBNO and ACAK systems.

Down But Not Out

When players take damage that lowers their health below a certain value, they enter a “Downed” state. While Downed, players cannot use weapons or move on their own. However, other players can pick up Downed players with G while in range. Downed players regen health at a slower rate and can be fully killed by taking further damage.

Assist Counts As Kill

When a player dies, any player who did any amount of damage to them within a certain period of time will be granted a “kill” statistic. Originally, only the player who delivered the killing blow would be granted a “kill” statistic.

Modes

ARCTops Version 2.0 introduces new game modes. Run /help in Roblox chat for a list of mode-specific commands.

King of the Hill

King of the Hill is a static objective mode. Two teams (Red and Blue) fight to capture and hold an objective for a period of time to win.

Deathmatch

Deathmatch is a point-based gamemode. First team to get to the kill goal wins. You can use the /setduel <true/false> command to enable the Duel mode, where all players respawn when someone gets a kill. This is meant for 1v1 use.

Understanding Interface

Healthbar

Armor: Shield icon next to the healthbar & blue stripe healthbar overlay. The icon and overlay is only visible if the player has armor.

Outscore: Skull icon to the right of the healthbar. An orange icon indicates the player has used at least 70% of their total lives, and a red icon indicates the player is on their last life. This icon is only visible if there is a death outscore.

Custom Crosshairs

Players can create, share, and import custom crosshairs using the crosshair menu. While importing crosshairs can never put your data or computer at risk, it is important to note that users can edit their codes to apply extreme crosshair properties that might cause crashes or degraded performance. This is against our rules, and users caught distributing malicious codes will face moderation action.
