I think your effects are really cool!
As a suggestion: maybe add a particle effect or a kind of fog, that would make them glow and looks even more awesome!

I recommend you use VFX to make Anime Games. Then your VFX can get really popular. Also anime and naruto games are the best games which can make a good advantage of VFX art.

What about using them for projectiles and attacks in like, a super smash like game
