So I’m thinking of making an event within my discord server and posting about it in Youtube as part of my content, I’m hoping to make a “tournament” events of some sorts, and the winner would be gifted a “Roblox eGift Card” as the reward.
I intend to give the “eGift Card” via discord DMs after the event. I don’t plan to advertise in the game where I will host the event on nor the Roblox Community it’s under in. So in a sense, it would just be within Discord and Youtube.
I’ve seen other content creators do this, and I’ve also read previous DevForum discussions about this topic, but those discussions are around 4–6 years old, so I’m unsure whether the information is still applicable under Roblox’s current policies.
So to sum it up, would I be allowed to host tournament-style events involving a Roblox experience, where participation and the prize are organized entirely outside of Roblox through my Discord server and YouTube channel, with the winner receiving a Roblox eGift Card through Discord DMs?
The event and prize would not be advertised or promoted within the Roblox experience or its Roblox Community. I mainly want to make sure this setup complies with Roblox’s current policies before I move forward with it.
