Today I present to you a really clever way I utilized the new mesh deformation tech, it’s amazing. The results came out way better than I expected.
Today I made some graphics for my upcoming game, Project: Hood.
No Blender, C4D, or Octane was used to make these (although I usually use Octane + C4D)
Believe it or not, these were taken straight from Studio!
Obviously I did editing in post though. I used Photoshop to add small stuff like motion blur and particles. I’m an editor who mains After Effects, so I did the rest of the post in there, like color correcting, glow, and sharpening.
I used the new mesh deformation tech to make these pictures look like renders, since rigs in renders are usually skinned and look super smooth (as opposed to the weird R15 joints ). Default Studio doesn’t look that good though, so I used ReShade to make the raw pictures look a lot nicer (ex. raytracing). Then I did post as I did before.
The convenience of being able to do this straight from Studio is not having to import a scene and retexture it manually in another program like you normally have to, PLUS you still have terrain and terrain water.
These are the raw photos (with ReShade):
Hopefully this gave people some ideas, and thanks for taking the time to read this!
