Are we allowed to advertise discord servers(recruitment) to players 13+ with PolicyService?

I was wondering if I’m allowed to make a UI in-game that gives players information on joining the militia(napoleonic genre - so discord is kind of a must given the nature).

For example:

Furthermore, I had an idea where players could join the discord server and redeem a unique code to claim a reward in-game(similar to twitter codes back in the old days)

There ARE methods in PolicyService for this but I was wondering if this is allowed in general?

You can however Roblox has announced they are removing (well making the api return empty table) this feature soon, so it might not be worth developing for your game as it rolls out soon.

Yes, as long as you check if this value is in the PolicyInfo for the player!

PolicyService should automatically adjust whether Discord can be shown or not with new Roblox updates, so you should be safe to use this. Let me know if you find something that suggests there are more steps to making sure a player can be shown Discord links.

I disagree with this, if you’re 18+ (or any reasonable age) - i don’t see why discord links should be blocked.

Yeah if it’s all legal adults sure, but anything else and you’re creating a grooming death box. I don’t know how many times I’ve seen discord servers have grooming controversies.
