Assistance with using one GUI frame (a yes/no confirmation frame) for multiple things

Hey Folks,

I’m in the process of creating my own game, and can’t seem to figure out how to use a single Confirmation Frame for multiple things. Please see below,

I have a NEW CHARACTER / LOAD CHARACTER (both have confirmation windows) system and have setup the New Character confirmation “Yes” to teleport you to character creation, however the load character feature is also teleporting me to character creation. I know I could make multiple frames but that’s not really what I’m looking to do. I’m using functions to control the confirmation screen.

You can set the a variable for what its being used for based on what they do to get it to show up, then when it shows up check what the variables says to see what it should be used for.

Would you mind showing us the code that you are using?

Quite literally just using Functions and them calling them when a player clicks on it.

ConfirmationWindow.Visible = true
StaticSound:Play()
end
NewCharacterButton.MouseButton1Click:Connect(ClickNew)

I’m not sure I quite understand, do you mind elaborating?

Still haven’t managed to figure this out, appreciate any help :slight_smile:
