While Roblox is down I have been working on some “jazz” like music but with my own twist to it as I find jazz rather boring (not sorry). Any feedback on them is appreciated!

I’ll be honest only jazz I would listen to is infused with classical! In huge on classical so sorry for the misleading, I’ll have to go listen up on jazz sometime as my definition of it is quite off I guess! Thanks anyways.

I am actually in a competitive Jazz Band in real life.
I listened to your songs and they sounded great for roblox, but I have some advice.
These two pieces sounded like a standard swing song, with a low tempo. But, I saw no real changes in the song.
Try adding more changes, and 1-2 spots in the song where the piece gradually gets louder in two measures. Then add a solo, a drum fill, etc. to spice things up instead of a repeating rhythm. For your rhythm, I wouldn’t stick to the same rythm for 8 bars, unless there is a vocalist. Try adding different things like triplets and syncopation.
I also saw that the pieces are mainly controlled by the drums and saxophone. Give trumpet and trombone a chance.
I liked the incorporation of the bass electric guitar though.

I love those 2 compositions. The only thing i’d suggest is to change that synth (i suppose) in the “Rainy Noir” to double bass.
Personally the songs don’t really sound jazzy. The songs themselves are fine but apart from the instruments the songs harmony doesn’t really sound that jazzy.
Jazz is actually very hard to compose. I don’t really know much about jazz but to improve I suggest looking at some some extended chords and more chromatic melody. You may want to add varation to your melody’s rythm too. Listen to some jazz too for some inspiration.
