Attempted to teleport to a place that didn't exist

I made a game that uses the Create And Save place API to make “servers”, and this is what happens.

I create the place, and it returns the id. Great! I have a wait, send it to the player, and then teleport them there.

My console in the server prints what it’s supposed to:

Then the clients receives the PlaceID, waits a second, then errors

Am I doing something wrong?

I don’t know, well, maybe as the error suggests, because the game is still not approved? What i mean is that the Game is still not approved by the moderation, i hope this helps :slight_smile:

Might be useful to provide code here so we know what functions you’re using. But first thing I can think of would be using the teleportService’s teleport() function over TeleportToPlaceInstance() function

Here’s my server code:

game.ReplicatedStorage:WaitForChild("FinishStep2").OnServerEvent:Connect(function(player,text,templateID)
	local placeID
	local success
	local data
	local inTable
	local successer, dataer = pcall(function()
		placeID = AssetService:CreatePlaceAsync(text,templateID,"epic")

		local returned = serverPlaceIDStore:GetAsync(text) or nil

			inTable = returned
	if returned == nil then
			serverPlaceIDStore:SetAsync(text,placeID)
			end

	end)

	success = successer
	data = dataer

	print(inTable)

	if inTable == nil then

	if success == false then
		game.ReplicatedStorage:WaitForChild("Step2Error"):FireClient(player,data)
		else
			wait(3)
		print(placeID)
		game.ReplicatedStorage:WaitForChild("FinishStep2"):FireClient(player,placeID)
	end

	else
		game.ReplicatedStorage:WaitForChild("Step2Error"):FireClient(player,"Server already exists.")

	end
end)

And my client:

game.ReplicatedStorage:WaitForChild("FinishStep2").OnClientEvent:Connect(function(placeID)

script.Parent.Visible = false

script.Parent.Parent.Teleporting.Visible = true

wait(3)

print("Client Recieved PLACEID: " .. placeID)

game:GetService("TeleportService"):Teleport(placeID)

end)

I use Teleport, not TeleportToPlaceInstance

I don’t think so, because in created places it shows all the places I created.
