Audio

I’m not sure if this is a bug, or if it’s on purpose, but for some reason when an audio isn’t looped, it seems impossible to stop it. Also my friend said that TimePosition() doesn’t work. So I think the roblox audio can be very buggy, and personally I think it could do with being updated.

By any chance are you using Windows 10? I’ve seen people complaining about Windows 10 audio bugs. I personally just checked and TimePosition(), Stop() does work on my Windows 7 machine, I’ve been using it for the past hour on a project.

The audio engine isn’t old, in fact it wasn’t long ago it was heavily updated.

Do you have a repro of this? I’ve just tried to make one, and Stop() seems to work fine (At least on Windows 7).

Well I have windows 10 currently, but it didn’t work for me on windows 7 either. But audio has always been buggy for me, like with animations too, I think they could both do with being updated.

Probably your hardware/drivers then, care to give specs?

What, why would they have anything to do with it? It’s a roblox bug, not my hardware. Also I’m on my phone right now, so I can give an example tomorrow when I can get on a pc.
