Auto-Align Plugin

@OpticaI1 approached me earlier today with an issue. Long story short, he needed a special tool.

I’ve gone ahead and made it for him. However, because this would be such a waste of a useful tool, I just decided to publish it..

This plugin takes a part and aligns it with any part below it.

There are a lot of issues, as you can see. Since this is not a project I care too deeply about, I won’t be fixing any of these problems. I will however give you some workarounds which still make this plugin work as intended.

Another thing is that I haven’t added a way to check if it’s on or off (because frankly, I don’t care about this plugin enough to make one) so you’ll just have to wing it

Workaround: if you deselect the part OR select another tool (such as scale or rotate) and switch back it’ll be the correct orientation

(i also have an auto-anchor one which I’m sure may help people. let me know if this interests you)
Hope this helps some developers!

Oh dear,
this can be definitely useful! I hate to align these manually. Good job!

Tho, what about meshes or stuff like this, where it is a bit more complicated to align it perfectly?

I thought about that and considered making it work for models (which I may well do if enough people want me to). Regarding meshes, as long as they’re in a single part, it should work the same. If the mesh aligns upside down, set rotation snap to 90 and just rotate it manually.
