Automatic Translation for Group Announcements

Roblox should introduce automatic translation for group announcements to reduce language barriers between creators, communities, and players. Group announcements are an important communication channel for Roblox groups, yet they are currently limited by the language in which the owner or administrator writes them. This creates an unnecessary communication barrier for international communities.

Roblox is a global platform with users from many different countries and language backgrounds. A group can have members from the United States, Brazil, Germany, France, Spain, Japan, Korea, Poland, Turkey, and dozens of other regions simultaneously. Requiring group owners to manually translate every announcement is inefficient, particularly for groups that publish frequent updates.

Automatic translation could work similarly to Roblox’s existing localization systems. When a group owner publishes an announcement, Roblox could automatically generate translated versions based on the reader’s account language or client language settings. The original announcement would remain unchanged, while each user would see the appropriate translated version.

I agree, this would massively help in capturing global audiences. This could also be extended to Group forum posts.
