Automatic translations stuck with clock icon (even after full table reset)

This is already my second topic reporting almost the same bug. For a long time I’ve been facing difficulties trying to fully automate the translation system on one specific experience. I’ve already tried everything and nothing has solved it — deleting the table, exporting from Studio, manually editing the file, and every other solution you can imagine (including the most time-consuming ones). Nothing fixed the problem.

Important details:

  • The issue only happens on this specific experience.
  • The experience had its source language changed from PT-BR to EN-US in the past (I was previously told that this change can sometimes cause bugs).
  • Ownership was transferred from my personal account to my creation group.

These are the most important details, and I’m willing to provide more if needed.

What happens is that old strings that already have a history of automatic translations are no longer translated by the cloud. Only completely new strings (ones the system has never seen before) get translated automatically.
For example: if I add a brand new text right now, with completely new content that never existed in the game before, the cloud translates it immediately. However, any text that already has a translation history stays stuck with the infinite clock icon forever.

This continues even after I completely delete the localization table and recreate it from scratch multiple times. The system simply refuses to translate anything that isn’t brand new.

I had the exact same problem before with the experience page (name, description, badges, game passes, etc.) — nothing was translating into Portuguese. A staff member was able to fix it from their side and everything returned to normal. He mentioned something about “blank manual translations”.

Here’s the link to my first report of this bug:

Hello @ariel3577 , thanks for bringing this issue to our attention. We’re sorry about the difficulties that you keep facing. Our engineers will start investigating and provide a solution to you soon. We appreciate your patience.

Thank you, I hope you succeed!

Hi @ariel3577 , I believe the issue is once again related to blank manual translations. In the current localization table, is there any translation that you do not want to lose? If not, I want to first start by trying resetting the entire table and hopefully restoring everything to their initial working state.

I don’t have anything I wouldn’t want to lose, so you can go ahead and reset the entire table since that will solve the problem.
