A new info container for avatar items was recently introduced, “Materials”. It returns Basic or Advanced depending on whether or not the item uses PBR textures. However, this info is shown when viewing avatar animations in the marketplace, which do not make use of PBR textures (or textures at all!) In every case, Materials of avatar animations are displayed as Basic.

Sorry, I phrased it poorly, I was trying to say that keeping it basic was just the standard since they can’t have PBR.
