Hi everyone,
I’m looking for some advice on increasing average playtime in my Roblox game, Chuck a Chimp.
It’s a round-based battle royale where players fight to be the last chimp standing. The core gameplay is simple and easy to understand, but I’m finding that many players leave after only a few rounds.
I’m trying to figure out what would make players want to keep playing for longer. Whether it’s changes to the gameplay loop, progression, rewards, or something else entirely, I’d love to hear your thoughts.
Some questions I have:
- What keeps players engaged in round-based games?
- What progression systems work well without making the game feel grindy?
- Are there features you’ve added that significantly increased average session length?
- Is there anything you think round-based games commonly do wrong?
Any feedback or ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
