After years of solo development, I formalized Axis Forge to focus on engineering a high-fidelity, performant Action MMORPG capable of running natively on Roblox. By treating every element of our development pipeline from combat and world-state to narrative as a modular, isolated service, we ensure the infrastructure remains robust as we scale.

The Role: Lead Environment Artist (Founding Partner)
We are building an expansive, immersive world where every vista tells a story. We are looking for a Lead Environment Artist to join us to help define the landscape, architecture, and environmental narrative from the ground up.
The Vision: You will be the architect of our world. We need someone who can translate our "Epic Stylized Fantasy" concept into a playable, performant, and atmospheric environment. Your scope includes everything from terrain sculpting and foliage placement to the design of the modular buildings and structures that populate our cities and ruins.
Core Requirements:
- World-Building Expertise: Mastery of terrain sculpting, layout design and environmental storytelling. You understand how to guide player attention through elevation, lighting, and composition.
- Structural Design: Proven ability to create modular buildings and environmental assets that feel cohesive with the natural landscape.
- Technical Pipeline: Expert knowledge of model optimization (low-poly efficiency vs. high-fidelity visuals), mesh LODs, and lighting properties to keep the game performant.
- AI-Driven Ideation: We utilize AI as a foundational tool for rapid concept ideation while we finalize our visual style. We are looking for a partner who is not afraid of AI-assisted workflows. You see it as a powerful, time-saving tool, not a replacement for your artistic vision.
