Badge API for getting badges wont return cursor pages

I got informed by @actuallyasmartname that Badge API for getting badges in descending order seems to unexpectedly end and it returns nothing after few pages even if the player in question has way more than the api is telling, seems that its very random for anybody and it causes counting badges to be off

Example of the users that the issue seem to be occurring (majority seem to be affected)

I’ve had this same issue for several weeks now. Only difference is I have mine listing in ascending order. I can go through about 230 pages before it returns blank data and no cursor pages.

Are there meant to be empty pages? I see they were updated to always include cursors, but some pages return empty data tables.

i’ve tested gbl and it worked fine one thing i noticed tho is that the pages where it was ending the count would actually dip to 0 counted for few mins before going back to normal (the count eventually ended in success so)

i’m quite literally forced to write this now but, there a new problem that is causing everyone count to be off. reason why this happens is because roblox decided that they will hide disabled badges from Cursor Data which is what caused the same cursor page bug and now it causes everything to be off by a lot now, @CoffeeBurg3r can we get an proper response if this is intentional or a bug

Yes, it’s possible to encounter empty pages when paginating.

It is intentional that badges which no longer belong to an active place are not included in these results. Badges which are disabled but belong to valid places are still returned. Please let us know if you observe differently.

So any place/game that is inactivated by the owner/creator will no longer show up on badge api?

I noticed I used to have around 3,000 badges and now when running my counter I have around 1,800. Is that the case?

This is correct. If the place is not active, the badges are not returned.

are erased accounts from existence of the platform ( [Account Deleted (userid_here)] ), also considered invalid from their places therofore causing badges to not be counted

This is just stupid. Why is that even a thing? What is this badge change trying to achieve? Ruining API?
