Bake UnionOperations into MeshParts

Meshes are generally more performant than unions, so it would be a very convenient solution to add a way to directly bake unions into meshes within Roblox Studio.

As someone who values optimization, adding an option to easily convert a union into a mesh once one has finished it would immensely speed up mine and many others’ workflows. Currently, it’s very tedious just to manually export and re-import each union, and then align their CFrames, match their colours, etc, ESPECIALLY in bulk.

It’s better for you to export it as an OBJ, apply some limited dissolve in Blender, and then import it back into Roblox.
Would be much better optimization-wise since you will see true topology and tris count.

Hi! I’m happy to say we’re actually working on solid modeling on MeshParts, and it’s almost ready to be released (or if you really can’t wait there’s an Alpha available too). Converting a PartOperation directly to MeshPart is something I want to make really easy in the future, but very soon you should be able to at least avoid going to Blender but your workflow might be slightly hacky.
