I’m trying to create a Team-Death-Match map with a laser tag-ish feel to it. Before I finish up the map I’d like feedback on how I could improve the design. Any feedback is appreciated. Please be critical and don’t sugar coat anything because I want to become a better builder, thank you!
The buildings are well done, tho as Melinux said, you should make it in an indoor area rather than an outdoor one, else it gives a feeling of a paintball field. For the current size it could be a 4vs4 map, so consider making it bigger. I would do an indoor area with a very soft ceiling illumination, as the crates could light up the darkness, and you could add some more neon light sources.
The assets tho look nice.
Thank you for the suggestions. The map is going to be 10v10 but there’s also going to be an uderground bunker. That’s why the map is so small. Thank you for the suggestions!
The biggest problem i see is that the interior of the castles feel really empty, maybe some sort of floor or lights might make it better. Aside from that, it doesn’t look that bad, good job
This map looks very linear. Perhaps there might be other ways to reach the opposing sides of the field, some of which don’t fall into the main line of site on the map; there seems to be very static map flow. As for the build itself, it is lacking in depth. Although you have indeed implemented various level design height variation (which a lot of builders fail to do), the area still seems to be a big blocky in its aesthetic, unless the uber-simplistic old roblox style is what you’re going for. Hope my criticisms could help you.
