Beachy Realisitc Homestore

This is a beachy homestore that I created, The outside, and inside detail is pretty a good achievement for me because I’ve been getting better at this each day. I wanted to post this to get all of you guys feedback on this build.

(The trees assets are there for decoration ONLY, will not be displayed in the build, and are not my assets)

I AM NOT SURE, BUT if you’re able to change the moon to something else you should try it.

If you’re trying to use bloom to make it more appealing, well, if I were you I’d get rid of it entirely and figure out why some things are failing.

You want to achieve realism, right? I think the sand’s color is saturated, I don’t think sand is that colorful.

I like the stairs that go into the beach, but I can’t tell there’s stairs on the first place. You can either increase the quality to 20 to see how it would look like in a different aspect, OR you could fake ambient occlusion by making a really small texture that looks like a shadow gradient and put it in the stairs. OR, and most importantly

TEXTURING. The image needs texturing, it doesn’t have to stay as the default texture you need to either upload the textures you find addecuate or search for textures that could fit in the game places. If you want to achieve realism remember that surfaces are not one color, theyre a mixture of colors and tones, so try and use textures for this.

Fog, I can see on the far right of the first picture that there’s fog. Increase the range of noticeable fog to something you can’t see…

I don’t really like the white bars on the second picture. Walking bars are meant to be big lines, not small bars

Alright, I’ll take note of this. Also, on the second picture, it might look that way due to the angle of the picture, but it still does look small, so I’ll change that as well. Thanks for your feedback, I’ll try and fix some things up. :+1:

If you want to make the moon have a ray you can do a trick where you use a skybox that is still night time during the day and switch the sun’s image ID with the moon’s image ID in the Sky object; don’t forget to make the CelestialBodiesShown property true as well.

The realism and scenery is a good start perhaps incorporate little additional details such as sidewalk signs - outdoor logo - hedges ect. In this case, you could always add other buildings around the surrounding area to reduce an empty feel.

While it’s creative, I would recommend wall lighting to brighten up the entrance area you could always view images and see what the exterior setting is. This would make it look better and cleaner adding textures on the pillar base (pedestal) it would define a more realistic look, try adding a variety of textures instead of having to on the entire building.

Other than that, as said above adding a mixture of textures/colors would enhance the realism, I would highly recommend looking at images just to get small unique ideas from.

:+1: Alrighty, I will take note of that.

:+1: Alright, sounds like a smooth idea, I’ll be sure to add textures and etc. Aswell as the lighting in the entrance area.
