Best way to create double armed windscreen wipers?

Hello! I have created some window wipers, that have 2 arms so its probably harder to apply movement or rotation to these window wipers since they have 2 arms. Using this same model I’ve used attachments and hinge constraints and this method worked completely fine apart from when the train (The vehicle these window wipers are for) moves it was very jittery & shaky and I’ve messed with a bunch of properties and couldn’t get the shaking to stop and I’ve also attempted using Motor6Ds but that didn’t seem to work very well so that is why I am creating this topic looking for a new way to get this working fine. Its hard to explain why the Motor6D solution didn’t work but some of you might already know why it didn’t work if its a behavior thing.

Here’s a couple of images of how it should look.

Closed rotation (The small grey squares are where it should be able to move from):

Opened rotation:

If you’d like a model containing both the motor6d version and the hinge constraint version so you can have a play around with it to see how it works please let me know and I’ll send you it.

Any help appreciated, thanks!

Hello, does anyone have any ideas how I can fix this or rig this?

Constraints are not a good option. Use Motor6Ds, which might be harder to operate, but it will be worth it in the long term if figured out.

Well actually, I am trying to use Motor6Ds but I’m not exactly sure how I should rig it… so that’s probably the part I’m needing help with

Sorry for bumping but, I still haven’t figured this out. Could anybody help?

Constraints are actually a good choice, if used correctly.

How would I prevent the hinges from shaking while the train is driving? I had it to work fine using hinges but it was shaky and wouldn’t stop.
