Best way to get players in my game

Hey guys, I spent about 2 weeks making this tycoon game. I don’t really know how to advertise it aside from spending robux on ads (which 1. is pretty inefficient especially with only 500 robux, and 2. i dont feel like spending it all for a few game visits). Can you suggest some ways for me to advertise this game for free?
BTW here’s the game link if you want to play it: [NEW🔥] Skibidi Toilet Tycoon 🚽 - Roblox

maybe tiktok/youtube shorts (youtube shorts would most likely have more success, due to their algorithm if you were to post a showcase of the game it would most likely reach your target audience), and your right, advertising (on roblox) is not good since many users use adblockers which would just hide your ad.

(im not very experienced with ads so i can be incorrect)

Hi Bacon_Lord,

I tried your game again in a free moment.

The game has a lot of problems in my opinion, probably because it was developed in only 2 weeks, but I don’t think it is ready for a public release or advertising yet (it would be a waste of money).

The best thing would be to hire a game designer interested in collaborating with you, to make the game not only technically workable but also meaningful in the user experience.

I’ll leave you with a list of features that in my opinion should be corrected before thinking about advertising:

  • Day/night cycle: I thought this was extinct in tycoons, the problem is that you can’t see anything at night, it can be maintained if you add good street lighting.
  • Low ceilings: if you build the first floor, you can get up the stairs, but then you can’t get back down. Also, having such low ceilings is claustrophobic.
  • Balance of costs (for which a designer is needed): with the ground floor you gain too little, so it takes far too long to advance, also because the costs of some upgrades (e.g. stairs) are too high for the gain of the floor.
  • The spaces are not very functional: the objects are placed a bit randomly (what’s the point of a bookcase behind a staircase?!) so it’s not satisfying to use the game’s money to see objects spawn that are out of place.
  • The door lasers are not ‘lasers’ even with the most vivid imagination, but these I think you can easily change.
  • The feature of colouring banknotes is not useful (it doesn’t enhance the value of the banknotes or anything) and doesn’t even enrich the gaming experience. It’s a very marginal feature.
  • Character movement I think could be increased or given the ability to run.

And now we come to the bugs:

  • The camera that is supposed to enhance the value of the banknotes came off the stand and ended up in the binder.
  • A desk spawned by itself (without me buying it) on the first floor

I hope you see this feedback as motivational and helpful in improving the quality of the game.
Absolutely find a friend who will structure the game design a little and reliable testers to verify that bugs so easy to find are not present.

Sorry for late reply, but thanks for the feedback!

Although how much for the pay of a game designer? Since I only have like 500 robux and people pay at least thousands of robux (from what I’ve seen) for game designers
