First of all, I wanted to ask: does this belongs in Development Discussion or Scripting?
Now to my question: I’ve experimented with different ways of scripting guns, but none of them achieve the effect I want. Velocity has a tendency to make the bullet seem static for a second and hang in the air (this has happened in my tests I’m not sure if it only applies to me). RocketPropulsion also has the same effect, and adds additional lag. Are there any better methods to scripting a gun? Thanks in advance.
I recently made my own gun system, i recommend looking up the fastcast module it saved me a lot of time and i even modified it to support grenades.
If you dont want to use a module the best way is definitely raycasting
