Better friend requests management

I get a lot of friend requests from people, and I get that people want to be my friend. That being said, my friends list is for actual friends, not random people from the Internet. I batch-decline friend requests, but I sometimes get PM’s from people asking why I won’t be their friend (Some even follow me to games to try and ask to be friends with me.)

When I decline their friend requests in-game, they give me the sad pouty face that causes me to guilt-trip.

Can we have more control over who can send us friend requests? I’m thinking that these two options would be nice:

Friends-of-friends: Friends of a friend on your friends list can send friend requests (Boy, that was a real tongue twister.) To everyone else, the send friend request button is invisible.

Off: Disable friend requests entirely - only you can send friend requests to others. To everyone else, the send friend request button is invisible.

Also, we need the friend request “Reason” back – people aren’t going to take the effort to PM you telling you why they sent a friend request, but when that “Reason” box was there 2008-2012? it was really nice because I would get reasons for the majority of the friend requests. Being the curious critter I am it seriously ticks me off when someone sends me a friend request without a reason.

Itd be nice to see a list of recent games you were both sharing a server for too.
Or if they send the FR in game, which game it came from (assuming they post to the site now)
