Better resizing accuracy

I don’t enjoy that every time I resize a part in studio to 1 stud, and try to size it up, that it adds a 0.2 to the Y axis of the Size,
does anyone else encounter this?
Every time it happens I have to manually make the part symmetric (non decimal size) again

  • I encounter it and want it to change
  • I encounter it and don’t want it to change
  • I do not encounter this problem

It happens when a part previously had a decimal, usually if you drag a part to minimum size then let go of the handles, and re-grab, it sets the size to 0.2, then when you scale it up again it goes to X.2

Slightly on topic but holding shift should double the resolution if the grid. (1stud becomes 0.5, 0.2 becomes 0.1)

Can’t seem to get it to work, though it sounds neat. Is this a transform tool thing, and not a regular tool thing, or what?

I’m not seeing this issue. If I try to scale a part using the Scale tool and 1-stud grid size, it goes from 3->2->1->2->3 just fine. What OS are you using and what version of Studio do you have?

Also, FormFactor was deprecated. If you’re still seeing a part as Symmetric, you should update Studio.
