Big Humanoids Animations not working

Big Humanoids walking animations stopped working, but if made smaller the walking animations work.

Expected behavior

I expect humanoids regardless of size to have walking and other animations play correctly. This used to be the case until recently, did roblox break something?

Thank you for the report. Do you have a file to reproduce this issue?

We are also having a potentially related issue where very large avatars seem to have broken animations.

Ive tested in a couple of games and it seems to be happening in all games, ive attached a baseplate with HD admin commands in it. Once the commands load say ;size me 10.

SizeDemo.rbxl (68.3 KB)

Could you clarify what is broken in your SizeDemo? I tried using the command “;size me 10” and then walking around, but it seemed okay in Studio.

Do you have any forked/custom scripts that rely on the user setting UserAnimateScaleRun? If so, can you try removing that logic?

Here is a recording taken in the exact place file I attached

@LuaBearyGood Thank you for sharing the video! This seems like it is potentially a different issue than what the OP reported – the animations seem to be playing at the correct speed but the body parts are in the wrong position. A separate post would help us track that better.

@JuniorMikezz Can you let us know if you’re still experiencing your issue? If so, can you provide us a repro for your issue?

Hi @JuniorMikezz, can you please send us an .rbxl file that clearly illustrates the issue? Please see this guide for reporting bugs. Thanks!

We haven’t been able to reproduce this issue internally. We’re not able to look into this further without a clear reproduction. If you can think of any additional details, I’d be happy to re-open this issue.
