BillboardGui.LightInfluence = 0 makes my white gui gray

Top test label: BillboardGui.LightInfluence = 0

Bottom test label: BillboardGui.LightInfluence = 0 with .AlwaysOnTop = true (except showing through walls is undesireable)


  • Happens on voxel lighting & shadowmap (bug doesn’t happen on the old compatibility mode)
  • no lighting objects tweaking stuff
  • Part.CastShadow doesn’t apply to this bug

I believe this is due to the tonemapper? This also happens with other things that are supposed to be pure white, for example a pure white skybox actually appears as a light grey.
